hi...

i'll be up for coming to meetings in Manchester, i'm now working in Pendle, ye know, out'in'sticks, which is what my Manchester based friends call it, as if the world radiates out from Manchester! I used to freelance around the city and it would be good to relate with you guys from time to time, to have some 'AE-piers' so to speak, cos there is no one nr me i know doing what i'm doing.

Anyone remember IDEA in manchester? an arts based training organisation. It was based on grosvenor street. nr the sand bar. it dissolved bout 3 or 4 yrs ago. Well i used to be their AE and DV trainer from 99-2005. did anyone do any of their courses?

Anyhow...i look forward to meeting some of you at the next meeting. Feel like i've been working in a vacuum, no jokes, for the past 5yrs.

Yeah we should find out where people are and try and meet somewhere in the middle, liking the look of the ND stuff Bes. Anyway, I'm in preston so manc's not a big reach for me.

A bunch of us went for a few beers in Manchester last week which went really well. Since then Jim's set up a vimeo group called MotionNorth:

I think it's time we set up our own monthly Motion MeetUp. Some of us have been gatecrashing Northern Digitals for the past year. Would be good to meet other Motionographers in the area!
